Q. How should I set my computer to be able to view Paragon's web site at the best resolution?

A. Paragon's web site is best viewed at 800 x 600 pixels.

To change this on your computer....

MAC: Go to apple menu. Go to control panels. Open up monitor's control panel. Within the panel on the right there are suggested resolutions for your monitor. Highlight 800 x 600 and close the control panel.

PC (Windows): Right mouse click on your desktop. Choose 'properties'. A properties box will appear. Choose 'settings'. In the section titled 'Desktop Area' move the slider to the left or the right until the numbers below the slider read '800 by 600 pixels'. Click 'OK'.
 
Q. How can I set my browser to automatically open up to Paragon's web site?

A. Netscape Communicator 4.72: Go to http://www.paragonfcu.org. Choose 'edit' from the menu on the top of the browser. A drop down menu will appear. Choose 'preferences...' A Preferences box will appear. Under 'Category' choose 'Navigator' if it is not already chosen. In the section titled 'home page' click on the button that says 'Use Current Page'. Click 'OK' on the bottom of the Preferences box.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.00: Go to http://www.paragonfcu.org. Choose 'tools' from the menu on the top of the browser. A drop down menu will appear. Choose 'Internet options' A Preferences box will appear. Choose 'General' if it is not already chosen. In the section titled 'home page' click on the button that says 'Use Current'. Click 'OK' on the bottom of the Internet Options box.
 
Q. How does Paragon secure their web site?

A. Paragon uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) to secure it's on-line forms and transactions. For more information on Paragon's Security, you can view our certificate by clicking the logo to the right.

You can view the certificate for iBRANCH by going to iBRANCH and clicking on the 'lock' in the lower right hand corner of your browser.

If you have noticed a message indicating that our application is not secure, this means you need to upgrade your browser.
 
Q. What do I need to use iBRANCH?
A. iBRANCH requires you to enter a Username and Password. Your user name and password cannot be the same. Your username should be between 8 and 16 characters. Your password should also be between 8 and 16 characters in length. It must contain a combination of mixed case characters and at lest one special character or number. (For example, examplepassword is not a valid entry because it contains all lower case letters. Example*password or Example1*password are valid entries because they contain one upper case letter and one special character.)
